National Law Firm Supports Children’s Charity At Exclusive Event
Representatives from national law firm Irwin Mitchell met with Samantha Cameron at 10 Downing Street after receiving invitations to an event in aid of KIDS charity, for which David Cameron is a Patron.Irwin Mitchell works closely with KIDS, a national charity which works with and supports disabled children, young people and their families.
Rachelle Mahapatra, Sarah Coles, Auriana Griffiths and Alex Tilbury from Irwin Mitchell received personal invitations to the event which took place on Tuesday 24th March from Samantha Cameron, the Prime Minister’s wife. Mr and Mrs Cameron sadly lost their son Ivan in 2009 after he was born with cerebral palsy and severe epilepsy, so they have first-hand experience of living with and caring for a child with a disability.
Caroline Stevens, KIDS CEO, commented: “I would like to say a huge thank you to Samantha Cameron from everyone at KIDS. We help disabled children through life-changing play, leisure, learning and training opportunities.Expert Opinion
It’s a great privilege to have received a personal invite from Samantha Cameron to this event and I’m very honoured to have been invited.
“Through our work, I have first-hand knowledge and experience of the impact a child’s disability can have on their family and charities such as KIDS really support people who want to make sure their loved one lives life to the full.”
Rachelle Mahapatra - Partner
