National Law Firm Proud To Support Upcoming Event In Nottingham

National law firm Irwin Mitchell has revealed it is proud to be a sponsor of the upcoming 2015 Cerebral Palsy International Sport and Recreation Association (CPISRA) World Games, which is taking place in Nottingham next week.

Kicking off with an opening ceremony on August 9th, the Games will see competitors from across the world come together to challenge each other in a range of sports from athletics and swimming to table cricket and para taekwondo.

Football will also be a feature of the week-long Games, with the inaugural International Federation of CP Football (IFCPF) Under 19 CP Football 7-a-side World Championships being held.

Irwin Mitchell is proud long-term supporter of disability sport, with its specialist lawyers seeing numerous cases in which such activities have helped people with their rehabilitation and recovery from major trauma and make progress in living as independently as possible.

As part of its commitment to promoting the benefits of sport, the law firm last month launched the Don’t Quit Do It campaign. The initiative is based around an inspiring series of videos of clients who have used sport to overcome their injuries and in some cases gone on to represent Great Britain in their disciplines.

The law firm is also proud to be supporting of double world champion wheelchair racer Hannah Cockroft MBE on her way to the Rio Paralympics next year.
