Irwin Mitchell Donated £1,200 To National Children’s Charity

Promise Dreams Supports Terminally Ill Children And Their Families

National law firm Irwin Mitchell have donated £1,200 to a national children’s charity who dedicates their time to making dreams come true for children with life limiting illnesses.

Promise Dreams was set up in 2001 to make dreams come true for seriously and terminally ill children and their families across the country. Over the years they have been able to help more than 1,250 children to have some time away from hospital appointments and treatment for a family holiday. The charity will ensure that all the specialist equipment will be available whilst they are away to maintain the best possible levels of care.

The donation from Irwin Mitchell will go to fund a trip to Disneyland for an 11-year-old Rajpreet Barsa who has Downs syndrome, severe learning difficulties and hearing and visual impairments and her family. Rajpreet needs round-the-clock care and she has never been able to go on holiday with her family before.

Expert Opinion
We are delighted to be able to support Promise Dreams in any way we can and we hope that Rajpreet and her family have a brilliant time at Disneyland.

“This charity provides an invaluable service to terminally ill children and their loved ones so they can enjoy once-in-a-lifetime experiences together. The work they do throughout the Black Country and the UK is fantastic and we hope to continue to work with them in the future.”

Amy Johnson, Key Account Coordinator, from Promise Dreams, said: “We would like to thank Irwin Mitchell for their generous donation – the money has funded a trip to Disneyland for a young girl called Rajpreet and her family which they are all really looking forward to.

“As an organisation that relies entirely on donations we simply could not continue our work without wonderful support like this, we are extremely grateful and look forward to continuing our association with the great team at Irwin Mitchell.”
