Futures Network Supporting Young Professionals In Sheffield And Beyond
National law firm Irwin Mitchell has revealed how its nationwide initiative aimed at encouraging and facilitating networking among young professionals is proving a success across the firm’s office footprint.
The Futures Network is run by junior lawyers at the firm to provide unique networking opportunities for up-and-coming talent at businesses operating in cities served by Irwin Mitchell’s offices.
The initiative has already proved successful across a number of Irwin Mitchell’s offices with unique events in Leeds, London, Manchester and Sheffield attracting rising stars in industry and the professional services sectors. The latest event, held earlier this month, saw guests taking on the challenge of racing in a Segway Grand Prix at the Magna Science Adventure Centre in Rotherham.
Upcoming events include a cocktail-making and beer-tasting event at Irwin Mitchell’s Leeds office on 21st October, while wine- and champagne-tasting events are being held at the firm’s Manchester and London offices respectively in November. The wheels are also in motion for a number of further events throughout next year following a very successful first year which included a curling competition in Sheffield and quiz night in Manchester.
