Medical Negligence Lawyers Hope The Inquest Will Provide Answers For His Widow
The heartbroken widow of a man who died of meningitis at the beginning of this year has said she hopes an inquest will answers her questions and concerns regarding a six hour delay in ambulance staff responding to an emergency call.
Mthuthuzeli Mpongwana originally from South Africa but living in Bedminster, Bristol at the time of his death, died on 7th January this year at the Bristol Royal Infirmary from meningitis after being admitted two days before.
The inquest into his death will be held on Tuesday 11th August at Avon Coroner’s Court. Medical negligence lawyers from Irwin Mitchell will be attending the hearing alongside Mthuthuzeli’s wife Lisa Armitage.
Expert Opinion
“Mthuthuzeli’s wife has understandably been left devastated by the sudden loss of her husband.
“Lisa would like to thank the Coroner for taking the time to investigate the circumstances of his death thoroughly and she hopes that the inquest will help her begin to understand what happened and allow them to begin the long process of rebuilding her life.”
