Specialist Lawyers Will Provide Advice On Legal and Medical Issues
Leading lawyers from national law firm Irwin Mitchell will be hosting a seminar to provide helpful information for healthcare professionals who work with individuals who have been diagnosed with asbestos related diseases.
The seminar will provide information, tips and training for healthcare professionals about the legal and medical issues related to patients with life limiting asbestos illnesses.
Among the speakers will be Julia Burns from Irwin Mitchell who will provide some practical advice in relation to disputes involving wills, focusing on recent case law and also from the firm Ian Toft who will speaking about the latest legal developments for asbestos related cases. Dr Mike Greenstone, a Consultant Respiratory specialist at Castle Hill Hospital will also be providing up to date information in relation to medical issues for those who have been diagnosed with an asbestos related disease.
Over the years, Irwin Mitchell has worked closely with Castle Hill Hospital and also Dove House Hospice which is based in Hull, both of whom provide invaluable care to patients diagnosed with terminal asbestos related diseases.
Irwin Mitchell have also supported many of Dove House Hospice’s fundraising events such as the Dove Release and their Summer Fair. Irwin Mitchell also supported the Castle Hill Hospital Cancer Trust Fund by raising over £3,500 following a carol concert last year. The Trust Fund assists healthcare professionals by providing them with vital equipment, state-of-the-art research and education that they need to care for individuals who have been diagnosed with cancer.
