Irwin Mitchell Advises On £27 Million University Development

Heart of the Campus Facility Ready For The Start Of Term

The Sheffield office of law firm Irwin Mitchell has advised Sheffield Hallam University on its completed £27m Heart of the Campus development.

The university is set to move staff and equipment into the building this week, ahead of opening to students at the end of September.

Heart of the Campus is home to the university’s Faculty of Development and Society, Student Services Centre, a range of lecture theatres, IT suites, learning spaces and cafes.

The three-storey building, which was completed by Graham Construction, has a number of environmentally sustainable features, including rainwater harvesting tanks, 100 Solar PV panels, under-floor heating and ground source heat pumps.
