Law Firm Announces Latest Appointment In Employment Team
The Birmingham office of national law firm Irwin Mitchell has appointed Employment Solicitor Siobhan Mulrey as it continues to expand its Business Legal Services team across the region.
Siobhan, who moves from Harrison Clark Rickerbys, advises on the full spectrum of operational and strategic employment law issues ranging from small HR queries to complex business re-organisations and boardroom disputes. She has a particular interest in litigious work and has represented clients in the employment tribunal.
In addition to advising commercial entities, Siobhan acts for clients in the education sector, including a variety of state-maintained and independent schools.
Commenting on her reasons for joining Irwin Mitchell, Siobhan said:
“I was keen to join Irwin Mitchell and have been impressed with Irwin Mitchell’s innovative and client-focused approach. The firm is not afraid of challenging the norm - something which I think sets it apart from its competitors and has enabled it to continue growing during what have been challenging market conditions.
“I am delighted to have joined a forward-thinking team and I firmly believe Irwin Mitchell provides me with the opportunity to expand on my own skills and experience.”
Siobhan is the latest addition to Irwin Mitchell’s Business Legal Services team in Birmingham and joins leading education employment lawyer, Surinder Dhillon, who moved earlier this year from Birmingham City Council.
In addition to expanding its employment department, since the start of the year Irwin Mitchell has appointed Corporate Partner Nick Dawson from DWF and Senior Corporate Associate Rob Laugharne from Shoosmiths. In March it also announced the appointment of Corporate & Commercial Partner, Sarah Riding from Mills & Reeve
