Expert Opinion
It is very disturbing to hear reports of this incident and while investigations remain at an early stage, it is clear that those injured will be keen to understand exactly how the incident occurred.

"Over many years we have represented hundreds of passengers who have been seriously injured in similar bus and coach disasters across the UK and abroad, and through our work we have seen the long term effects that incidents like this can have for passengers. Our thoughts are with all of those passengers who have suffered injuries and their families at this difficult time.‎"

"It is vital that all of those injured both physically and psychologically get access to the best treatment, rehabilitation and support available to come to terms with what they have suffered. It is very early, but every effort must be made to thoroughly investigate the cause of this serious incident, not least to identify any lessons that can be learned to reduce the risk of similar accidents in the future."
