Irwin Mitchell’s Real Estate team has been shortlisted in the Commercial Property Law Firm of the Year category at the Yorkshire Legal Awards (YLA).

The prestigious annual ceremony, which takes place at New Dock Hall in Leeds on 16 October 2014, recognises excellence within leading law firms across the region.

Irwin Mitchell’s seven-Partner strong Real Estate team in Sheffield and Leeds impressed the panel of YLA judges with its continued growth during challenging economic conditions, its track record for excellent client care, and the high number of property transactions that the teams have advised on.

This latest award shortlisting follows a strong 12 months for Irwin Mitchell’s Real Estate division. Already this year, the firm has won a number of accolades including the silver medal at the 2014 Lawyer Awards which were held last month in London.

Paul Firth, National Head of Real Estate at Irwin Mitchell, said:

Expert Opinion
Irwin Mitchell’s Real Estate team has performed extremely well in the last 12 months and nationally we are recognised to have one of the strongest teams.

“The Yorkshire team plays a key role in the success of the department and this shortlisting is again deserved recognition of the hard work and expertise that we have across our offices in Leeds and Sheffield. Let's hope we have some more good news following the awards ceremony.”
