Birmingham Children’s Hospital has set up a helpline for patients who were treated by Myles Bradbury between 2004 and 2008.Earlier this week, the child cancer specialist admitted sexually abusing patients he treated at Cambridge’s Addenbrooke’s Hospital between 2009 and 2013.

Expert Opinion
This is a truly shocking case and we welcome the swift action of the Birmingham Children’s Hospital to set up a helpline for those affected by the case.

“Access to help and support is vital for the victims of sexual abuse and it is crucial the any children treated by Bradbury, as well as their family, are offered the support and advice they need.

“Sadly the nature of the abuse by Myles Bradbury is not a one-off and in our work we have been instructed to investigate abuse suffered by a large number of patients who were taken advantage of by individuals they trusted to provide them with medical care.” Luke Daniels - Partner
