Legal Experts Specialising In Helping Crash Victims Call For Answers And Improvements In Bus And Coach Safety

Lawyers who represent victims of coach crashes across the globe have called for a thorough investigation to be carried out into the fatal crash in Cornwall this week and reiterated their calls for safety improvements.
 
Two passengers were killed and at least four others were left seriously injured in the fatal crash which involved a coach owned by Carmel Coaches of Exeter when it collided with a wall on a steep hill on the A387 at Morval on Tuesday (May 13th).
 
The 57-year-old driver of the coach from Exeter was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and was taken into police custody, before subsequently being released on bail until August 11th.
 
Specialist lawyers from national law firm Irwin Mitchell have acted for injured victims and the families of those killed in more than 20 serious bus and coach crashes across the world. The firm currently represents 25 children and adults from Alvechurch Middle School near Birmingham who were seriously injured in a fatal coach crash in France in February 2012.
 
The legal experts also currently act for 14 injured passengers from a coach crash on Alpe d’Huez in the French Alps that occurred in April 2013, in which the vehicle’s driver was killed and many others were left seriously injured.
