Irwin Mitchell Raises Vital Funds For Allergy UK
An adventurous group of staff from leading West Midlands law firm Irwin Mitchell have completed a gruelling running challenge through lakes, mud and woodlands to raise money for charity. The team which included Kathryn Salt, Zoe Gask and Nadhia Akthar all from the International Personal Injury team in Birmingham took part in the Winter WOLF (Woods Obstacles Lakes Fields) Mud Run in Lutterworth, Leicestershire.
The brave trio took on the 10K off-road run featuring a series of man-made and natural obstacles including the ‘mud sucker’ which involved wading through mud and the ‘turbine stream’ where they swam in the River Avon that runs through Stanford Estate.
They have raised a fantastic £250.00 so far for Allergy UK who is the leading national charity dedicated to supporting over 21 million allergy sufferers in the UK. With another event to come also in aid of the charity in January 2015.
Zoe, Kathryn and Nadhia said: “We have been overwhelmed with the support we have received and glad we could raise funds for this charity which helps people up and down the UK. We hope to triple our funds in January for this worthwhile charity.”Expert Opinion
