Experienced Solicitor Boosts Growing Team

Irwin Mitchell has boosted its market leading Wills, Trusts and Estates Disputes team with the addition of an experienced specialist solicitor to work in Leeds and Sheffield.

Julia Burns (née Pearson) has eight years post qualification experience at Clarion Solicitors in Leeds and has worked in the area of disputed wills and trusts for the last 6 years. She has also completed the Society of Trust and Estates Practitioners Advanced Certificate in Trust Disputes.

Julia previously worked as a contentious sports and regulatory lawyer and in general commercial litigation before specialising in this growth area of law.

Julia, who will work in both Leeds and Sheffield on cases from around the UK, said: “I’m delighted to join Irwin Mitchell which has an excellent reputation in working with disputed wills and trusts and is seeking to grow further. This is a highly specialist area of law and I will be dealing with all types of claims arising from disputes over wills, trusts and estates.”
