Brass Band To Play Hits From The Silver Screen
By Rob Dixon
Irwin Mitchell has joined forces with local Sheffield charity Neurocare to host an upcoming concert at the city’s Victoria Hall, where people will be treated to an evening of memorable music from the movies.
Andrew Wallis from the law firm’s Real Estate team has worked with the charity to organise the event, which is set to be held on April 27th at 7pm and will feature the Unite the Union (City Of Sheffield) brass band playing hits from the world of cinema.
Funds raised as a result of the event will go towards the work that Neurocare undertakes to provide the neurosciences department of the Royal Hallamshire Hospital with top-quality surgical equipment.
Legal expert Andrew, who along with his family is a long-time supporter of Neurocare, said: “The charity’s work is close to my heart on a personal level, as my family have had firsthand experience of the fantastic care and treatment offered by the staff on Royal Hallamshire’s Neuro Ward.
“I’m delighted to say that Irwin Mitchell’s Sheffield office, particularly its personal injury Neurotrauma department, has also been a supporter of Neurocare for a number of years and supporting great local causes is part of the ethos running through Irwin Mitchell.
“We hope that this concert will help raise funds which will ensure medical professionals on the ward continue to get access to the top quality equipment they need to continue their fine work while also providing an evening of great entertainment along the way.”
