A concert of popular film music arranged by a lawyer from Irwin Mitchell’s Sheffield office and held in the city in conjunction with local charity Neurocare has raised £1,900 for the charity.

Andrew Wallis, a Partner in the national law firm’s Real Estate team, organised the evening of music from the Unite the Union (City of Sheffield) brass brand at the city’s Victoria Hall on April 27th, where hits from a range of films were performed.

The funds raised by the event for Neurocare will now be used by the charity to support its ongoing work to provide high-quality surgical equipment and resources to the neurosciences department of the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield.

Commenting on the event’s success, Andrew, whose family have been supporters of Neurocare for several years, said: “We were absolutely delighted with the turnout for the event and can only extend our thanks to everyone who came along to hear the band and support this hugely important cause.

“These funds will undoubtedly be very useful to the charity in its continuing work with Royal Hallamshire. Here at Irwin Mitchell we have been long-time supporters of Neurocare and look forward to working with them further in the future too.”
