By Rob Dixon
Lessons must be learned from an incident in which four people were injured when the ceiling above the swimming pool at the LA Fitness site in Erdington, Birmingham, collapsed, according to expert lawyers.
The fitness centre was evacuated following the problems on Sunday morning (June 23rd) when four people in the pool at the time suffered minor injuries. No one was hospitalised however.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service added that it was very fortunate that those involved had not suffered more serious injuries.
