Law Firm Helps To Raise Vital Funds For Castle Hill Hospital Cancer Trust Fund
Law firm Irwin Mitchell and Beverley Chamber Choir have joined forces this year to hold a concert to raise vital funds for the Castle Hill Hospital Cancer Trust Fund.
Irwin Mitchell will be sponsoring the Carols by Candlelight Concert which is to be held on Friday 20th December at 7:30pm at St Mary’s Church in Beverley and all proceeds from ticket sales will go to the Trust Fund.
Beverley Chamber Choir formed in1998 and has 40 members, who perform up to three concerts each year. The choir is a registered charity which helps to educate the public in the art of choral music; giving local musicians an opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills.
Nicola Handley, a specialist industrial illness lawyer at Irwin Mitchell’s Leeds office, said: “We are really proud to be able to sponsor the Carols by Candlelight concert to raise funds for the Trust which provides a fantastic service to local cancer sufferers.
“Many of our clients receive care and treatment at Castle Hill Hospital following diagnosis of mesothelioma and other asbestos-related diseases so we are very pleased to be able to support the Trust in any way we can.”
The Castle Hill Hospital Cancer Trust Fund was set up in 1984 and raises funds to buy new equipment for the hospital and funding research and education. The Trust Fund assists healthcare professionals by providing them with vital equipment, state-of-the-art research and education that they need to care for individuals who have been diagnosed with cancer.
If you would like to attend the concert, tickets can be purchased direct from Beverley Tourist Information on 01482 391672 priced £10 for adults and £5 for children or further information can be found about the event on www.beverleychamberchoir.org
