Event Set To Take Place In Birmingham In June 2014
Road safety organisation Brake has revealed details of its next Fleet Safety Conference and Awards.
The event will take place at St John's Hotel in Solihull, Birmingham on Thursday June 5th 2014 and a number of guest speakers are being lined up.
Mark Simcox, head of training and driver recruitment at National Express West Midlands and Ian Featherstone, knowledge manager at Energy Saving Trust, will be on hand to advise fleets on how they can become safer and more economical.
Brake's Fleet Safety Awards are aimed at recognising people who have actively helped to reduce the number of fatal road collisions in the UK, with previous winners including ABB Ireland, Crossrail and BT. Nominations will be accepted until February 7th 2014.
Roslyn Cumming, professional engagement manager at Brake, said this year's conference was a big success.
"I'd urge anyone with an interest in fleet safety to attend to hear first hand about those at the forefront of the field and to celebrate success," she remarked.
"We welcome award entries from all types of organisations to help make [next] year's the biggest and best event yet."
