Law Firm’s Bristol Office Celebrates Third Birthday
Business professionals from across the South West came together last week (16 May) to celebrate Irwin Mitchell Bristol’s third birthday at the law firm’s spring party.
The event was held at The Station, the biggest dedicated youth project in the South West which Irwin Mitchell sponsors, and saw over 100 business people network whilst treated to canapés, refreshments and a musical performance by arts development group ‘studio 7’.
Irwin Mitchell Bristol Regional Managing Partner, Jonathan Peacock, gave a speech about the firm’s growth across the South West and the plans over the next 12 months
He also thanked the firm’s contacts, which range from charities, chambers, and professional services from the region for their support over the last three years.
The Bristol office of Irwin Mitchell has expanded its services across the region since opening a Bristol office in spring 2010 and now has over 40 members of staff working in dedicated medical law, family, serious injury, asbestos related diseases, court of protection and public law teams.
Jonathan Peacock said: “The Bristol office of Irwin Mitchell has enjoyed a third successful year working with our clients and colleagues in other businesses locally and throughout the region.
“We are delighted to be at The Station, a project which aims to get young people from across Bristol working together, making friends, trying new things and developing their talents.
”The Station is just one of a large number of exciting partnerships we’ve developed over the time we’ve been here and we are all looking forward to another challenging and rewarding year building on what’s been achieved so far.
“I am delighted with the progress we have made over the last three years in establishing Irwin Mitchell as a major player in the South West legal market and I remain grateful for the welcome and support we have experienced since we arrived in Bristol.”
Over the last three years Irwin Mitchell Bristol has been involved in exciting projects across the region including the Wow! Gorillas Arts project, the sponsorship of St John’s Ambulance Training, the University of West England Law Society and the Clifton International Festival of Music and supporting ‘the station’ for its launch in September last year.
