Law Firm’s Bristol Office Celebrates Second Birthday
Business professionals from across the South West came together last week (24 May) to celebrate Irwin Mitchell Bristol’s second birthday at the law firm’s spring party.
The event, held at Riverstation in the city centre, saw over 100 business people network whilst treated to canapés and refreshments.
Irwin Mitchell Bristol Regional Managing Partner, Jonathan Peacock, gave a speech about the firm’s growth across the South West, which includes the recent appointment of a public law team.
He also thanked the firm’s contacts, which range from charities, chambers, and professional services from the region for their support over the last two years.
Irwin Mitchell, which celebrates its centenary this year, has expanded its services across the region since opening a Bristol office in spring 2010 and now has dedicated medical law, family, serious injury, asbestos related diseases, court of protection and public law teams.
Jonathan said: “It was a pleasure as always to welcome clients, colleagues and friends to our annual Spring party. I am delighted with the progress we have made over the last 2 years in establishing Irwin Mitchell as a major player in the South West legal market and I remain grateful for the welcome and support we have experienced since we arrived in Bristol.
“This is a truly vibrant and resourceful region and we’re proud to be a part of it. Over the next year we look forward to further expansion across all the teams and continuing to involve ourselves in the South West business community.”
Over the last two years Irwin Mitchells' Bristol office has been involved in exciting projects across the region including the Wow! Gorillas Arts project, the sponsorship of St John’s Ambulance Training and the University of West England Law Society and supporting ‘the station’, the biggest dedicated youth project in the South West due to open later this year.
