Legal Specialist Welcomes 'Significant Step' For Key Client
National law firm Irwin Mitchell’s London Business team has advised key client Gazeley on the buyout of its joint venture partner Land Securities’ 50% interest in Magna Park, Milton Keynes.
The site was Land Securities’ only remaining large industrial holding and the transaction leaves Gazeley with 100% ownership of the project.
The sustainable logistics and distribution park already includes 1m sq ft of built industrial space occupied by retailers John Lewis and River Island, with a further 2.4m sq ft that is yet to be developed.
Associate Louise Cartwright dealt with the Real Estate aspects and partner Edward Persse and solicitor Mark Rowan advised on the Corporate aspects. Nabarro advised Land Securities.
Louise Cartwright said “This is a significant step for Gazeley, giving them control of one of the most sought after logistics parks in the south in an excellent location.
"Our team has been involved with Magna Park for many years and we look forward to continuing to work with Gazeley in developing the site.”
