HSE Informed Of Fatal Incident In Mayfair

Investigations are continuing following the death of a woman who was crushed by falling masonry as she walked past a building in central London’s Hanover Square yesterday (August 30th).

The victim was struck by debris thought to be a window frame as she passed the six-floor development, where the ground floor has reportedly been in the process of being renovated into an art gallery. It is believed that scaffolding and barriers were only recently removed from the site.

The Health and Safety Executive has been informed of the incident and is reportedly investigating the incident alongside police.
