Six people are believed to have died when a single-engine aircraft crashed in western Switzerland at the weekend, according to reports.
Local police have revealed that four men and two women were killed in the incident on Saturday (April 28th), when the aircraft came down close to a few houses in the municipality of Attalens in Fribourg.
It is believed that the plane, thought to be a Piper PA-32R-301 Saratoga SP, was flying from an airport close to Lausanne, around 23 miles from the crash site, when the incident occurred. Officers have confirmed that the cause of the crash is not yet known.
