Award Winning Team Complete Latest Deal
Real Estate experts at Sheffield-based law firm Irwin Mitchell have helped secure a deal which will see the city’s Children’s Hospital Charity expand and move into a new office.
The Marlborough House office is in the Crookes area of the city, just a few hundred yards from The Children’s Hospital itself, and will allow the charity to expand its fundraising capabilities.
The Children's Hospital is part of Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust. The Trust is one of only four dedicated children's NHS trusts in the UK providing integrated, highly specialist health care for children and young people.
The Children's Hospital Charity supports and enhances the work of Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust by funding specialist medical equipment, research into childhood illnesses and improvements to the hospital facilities and environment.
Kevin Fox, a Solicitor in the Real Estate team at Irwin Mitchell which recently won Yorkshire Property Law Firm of the Year 2011, represented the charity. He said “We are proud to have been able to help The Children’s Hospital Charity locate to a bigger office allowing them to grow their fundraising capability and support the great work at the Hospital.”
Rebecca Staden, Senior Fundraiser at the Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity, said: "We're all really looking forward to the move, as the new office will enable us to grow our team and our fundraising activities. We're all really creative people so the space is going to make a real difference to us and the work that we do."
Irwin Mitchell acted on behalf of the charity, with Wake Smith acting on behalf of the landlords the Brailsford Trust along with agents Mark Jenkinson & Son.
