Real Estate Team Supports Colthrop Mill
National law firm Irwin Mitchell's real estate team has advised Colthrop Mill, a joint venture between British Land and Gazeley, on the sale of a 23,825 sq ft logistics centre at G Park, Thames Valley, Thatcham to luxury retailer Harrods Limited.
Harrods, which acquired the unit for £10.7 million, will use the site to process luxury products for its Knightsbridge store and UK airport retail outlets.
Although Irwin Mitchell has been advising Gazeley on real estate issues, this is the first time the firm has advised the joint venture since the real estate team moved from SJ Berwin in November last year.
The Irwin Mitchell team was led by partner Rupert Dowdell, assisted by Alex Brown. Simon Burson, real estate partner at Eversheds, advised Harrods.
