Crash On The A264
Police in Sussex are investigating following a car crash involving three vehicles on the A264 between Crawley and Horsham.
According to The Argus, the southbound carriage and one northbound lane of the road were closed following the incident close to the Bewbush Manor roundabout and Faygate.
No details have yet been released in relation to injuries sustained, but it is thought a car collided with a van before then hitting another vehicle.
Colin Ettinger of Irwin Mitchell’s London office specialises in helping victims injured in road traffic collisions and often sees the devastating impact that such incidents can have on victims and their loved ones.
Commenting on the incident, he said: “Authorities need to work quickly to discover how this incident came to occur.
“We regularly see the physical and psychological impact that collisions of this kind can have on those involved and, while the extent of the injuries in this case is not yet clear, it is vital that answers are found as to how it happened.
“Hopefully, any conclusions will mean that lessons can be learnt and hopefully that measures can be put in place to reduce the likelihood of similar incidents in the future.”
