17,000 Cars Recalled In The UK
Japanese car manufacturer Toyota is recalling more than 1.5 million cars after concerns were raised over the safety of brakes and fuel pumps. Models being recalled include certain Avalon, Highlander and Lexus cars, with 17,000 affected cars in the UK.
The recall is as a result of concerns over leaking braking fluid that could affect braking performance.
The recall in the UK involves some Lexus IS, GS and RX models built between 2003-2005.
Drivers of affected cars will be notified early in November. Toyota will arrange for the affected parts to be replaced.
