New year reception, Birmingham

Law firm Irwin Mitchell hosted a New Year Reception at which the special guest was the Prime Minister, the Rt Hon Gordon Brown MP.

The event, held at the Radisson SAS Hotel Birmingham, offered leading lights from Birmingham’s business community an opportunity to exchange views with the Prime Minister.

Stuart Henderson, Irwin Mitchell Birmingham managing partner, welcomed Mr Brown to the event and thanked him for visiting Birmingham again. The Prime Minister in turn congratulated the people of Birmingham and the West Midlands for their resilience and made particular mention of the contribution made to Britain’s economy by the region’s manufacturing, professional services and creative industries.
