Dangerous Driving

A 44-year-old man is to face magistrates charged with causing death by dangerous driving over a tragic collision which left three people dead.

Andrejas Mucha, of Skegness, was driving his Leyland Sherpa van at Croft, near Skegness, when he was in collision with a Rover 600 carrying five people.

Polish national Irena Polak, 47, from Skegness, who was a passenger in the Sherpa van, died at the scene. The 22-year-old driver of the Rover, Zenonas Buza, a Lithuanian national from Wrangle, and his front seat passenger Sandra Bredelyte, 22, were also killed.

Mucha, 44, from Roman Bank, was charged with three counts of causing death by dangerous driving.

He was released on conditional bail and is due to appear before Skegness Magistrates' Court on 15 July.

Mr Mucha was treated at Boston's Pilgrim Hospital before being arrested on the same day of the collision.

Five other people in the van and three back seat passengers from the Rover were also treated in hospital for injuries received in the crash.
