Hotel Illness Outbreak in Punta Cana

Reports have been received of an outbreak of gastric illness at the Excellence Hotel in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.
 
It is thought that guests who have travelled to the hotel in recent weeks have been struck by an outbreak of gastric illness possibly due to the alleged poor standards of health and hygiene at the hotel.
 
In addition to complaints of gastric illness, holidaymakers allege a range of quality issues in relation to facilities and standards at the hotel.
