Motorcyclist road traffic accident
The death of motorcyclist after a collision with a lorry on Friday 22, February has led to the arrest of a lorry driver from Ross-On-Wye.
The incident occurred on a road near Usk, Monmouthshire on the A4042, killing Christopher Price Jones, 57.
The 43-year-old lorry driver was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving according to Gwent Police and was later released on police bail.
David Urpeth, a Partner at law firm Irwin Mitchell said: "Motorcyclists are a potentially vulnerable group of road users alongside cyclists. Riders of motorcycles and cycles often suffer injuries even in relatively slow speed impacts.
"Riders are often victims of serious and as this tragic case demonstrates, sometimes fatal injuries when involved in road traffic collisions.
"I have dealt with many cases where riders have been injured or killed in road traffic accidents."
