Two other men suffered minor wounds in this accident at work and required hospital treatment.
David Urpeth, Partner comments, "This tragic case highlights the need for the highest levels of safety when workers are expected to work with explosive products. Sadly, I have represented many individuals who have been injured following explosions at work."
David Urpeth represented over 80 workers injured in an explosion at the Conoco oil refinery Immingham which was described at the time by the health and safety executive as possibly the worst industrial explosion since Flixborough.
