M25 Forced to Close Whilst Horses are Caught
Three horses forced the M25 to close on the morning of Wednesday, November 21 after they escaped from their field between junctions 27 and 28.
The horses were ushered off the motorway which was closed in both directions for more than half an hour.
The horses were reported to the Highways Agency at 09:20am and the motorway was closed about 20 minutes later, leading to tailbacks.
Katrina Elsey from Irwin Mitchell Solicitors commented: Frequently, accidents on the highway are caused by animals which are extremely dangerous for drivers often resulting in a collision.
If you or anyone you know is injured as a result of loose animals straying onto the highway then you may be entitled to pursue a personal injury claim.
