Netto recalls packs of cereal bars after rodent tail found
Supermarket chain Netto is recalling packs of a cereal bars after a customer found a rodent's body parts inside the product.
The company issued a product recall after the customer found what looked like a mouse inside the product "Minimum" cranberry and apple bar.
The shopper found the tail and body parts of what looked like a mouse, the Food Standards Agency (FSA) said.
Netto's in-store notices said the reason for the recall was "foreign body contamination" and the store was offering a full refund for returned products.
A spokeswoman for the FSA said the rodent parts had been "very visible" in the affected bar, making it unlikely that anyone would have eaten it by accident.
The FSA said, no other Netto products were affected.
