Law firm award win
Law firm Irwin Mitchell has been awarded the National Law Firm of the Year award at the prestigious Lawyer awards, held by The Lawyer Magazine, in London last night (26th June 2007).
Judges awarded Irwin Mitchell first place because of its strategic vision, consistent delivery of client service, strong spread of work, evidence of excellence and a strong financial performance.
The award was presented to the firm for repositioning itself effectively for the challenges which will arise to the changes to the legal industry, which includes the recent merger with Glasgow and Manchester based law firm Golds.
The magazine also identified the firm's expansion through the growth of key practice areas and offices, including the Manchester office, which merged last year with Alexander Harris and has doubled in size since it opened its new offices in December 2006.
Senior Partner Michael Napier CBE QC said "This award is testament to the dedication of all our staff, who have worked hard on our steady growth and service to clients nationwide.
