M25 Coach Crash Update

11.07.2007

A passenger who received "horrific injuries" when a coach crashed on the motorway near Heathrow has died six months after the incident. A post-mortem examination was held but cause of death has not been confirmed. Two people died in January when the National Express coach overturned on the slip road of the M4/M25.

Until the cause is established, Thames Valley Police are unable to comment on whether his death was a result of any injuries sustained during the collision. The coach driver arrested in connection with the crash is on bail until Monday 23 July. The investigation into the collision, which occurred on a slip road of the M4/M25 on Wednesday 3 January and resulted in the death of two people, is still ongoing.
