Jenx products

The MHRA has announced that Jenx Limited need to make immediate changes to the information booklet that accompanies their products. Jenx Limited's products are designed to enhance the lives of children with special needs. The intricate seating systems support a child's body from their head to their feet. The frame is adjustable to meet the individual needs of each child ensuring that they are in the most advantageous position. The affected products are used by children aged 2 years old to 18 years old.

The Instruction for Use booklet that accompanies a number of their products is alleged to have failed to give sufficient guidance on how to correctly set up the seating support system and make appropriate adjustments. This could have potentially devastating consequences.

The following products have been affected:

• Beta 4 and X and Y bases
• Gamma X and Y bases and Corner Seats
• Whale
• Giraffe
• Ladybird
• Turtle
• Lamda
• Zeta
