Merck Vioxx claims
Following the recent decision of Judge Carol E Higbee in the Superior Court of the State of New Jersey to refuse permission for UK claimants to bring claims against Merck (the manufacturer of Vioxx) in the US, there are now a number of UK citizens residing in other countries or who had gone direct to a US attorney and are now without legal representation in the UK.
Irwin Mitchell Solicitors are currently investigating ways in which cases can proceed in the UK Courts. Although there is restricted availability of funding for Claimants in group actions in this country, especially though public funding, Irwin Mitchell Solicitors are seeking to identify potential sources of funding which will allow UK claimants to bring their claims against Merck.
If you have suffered an injury whilst taking Vioxx and are a UK citizen residing outside of the UK or previously instructed a US attorney to act on your behalf then please contact us on 0870 1500 100 or complete our online claims form. We may be able to help.
