Food Collection

Staff from law firm Irwin Mitchell have been getting into the Christmas spirit by raiding their cupboards for the community, as part of their annual charity food collection.

The Irwin Mitchell Charities Foundation (IMCF), an independent charity managed by Irwin Mitchell employees, donated food from this year’s collection to both the Royston & Carlton Community Partnership and the Cathedral Archer Project. They also made a £1,000 donation to the Cathedral Archer Project.

Adrian Budgen, Partner at Irwin Mitchell's Sheffield office and Chair of the IMCF, said: “We are delighted that our staff have been so supportive of this initiative again this year. These charities play a valuable role in supporting those who need it most in the community and we are proud to play a part in that.”

Gail Naylor, Project Manager at the Royston & Carlton Community Partnership, said: “We are incredibly grateful to Irwin Mitchell for the food hampers they so kindly collected and donated. Donations like these make a real difference to the people we work with, especially at Christmas as so many of them do not have family nearby.”

Tracy Viner, Fundraising Manager at the Cathedral Archer Project, said: “Irwin Mitchell has always been generous in their support of the Cathedral Archer Project.  They collect food donations which are used to give to rough sleepers and the cash contribution helps us continue to deliver the crisis support for our clients. It is only through the help from Irwin Mitchell and other generous supporters that we can help some of the most vulnerable in our city.”
