28 people were injured after two buses and three cars collided on the A52 in Derby. More than 50 people were on board the two Trent Barton buses when the incident happened on Saturday. Four passengers were taken to hospital while the rest were treated at the scene. A police spokesman said: "It is believed one of the vehicles avoided a broken down car in the carriageway causing other vehicles to brake and the two buses to collide." He said 28 people were treated for injuries such as cuts, bruises and whiplash.
Irwin Mitchell Solicitors have been approached by two injured passengers to pursue a potential personal injury claim and would be interested to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the accident or was a passenger on one of the trains. Contact us now if you have more information
