In February 2009 our client was involved in a head-on collision with a Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV).
Due to the nature of the collision, he sustained multiple injuries which included several fractures to the right forearm, fracture of the left femur and a fracture to the right knee.
Our client was employed as a service engineer but has since not been able to return to work and as such his residual earning capacity is limited.
Full liability was admitted by the Defendants as through the hard work of specialist personal injury solicitors at Irwin Mitchell’s Sheffield office, a settlement was secured of £525,000.
