Irwin Mitchell's specialist Accident at Work team has helped a man to claim compensation after he was injured at work.
The man was working part time as a Warehouse Operative. One of his tasks involved pulling cages out of a lift. The cage he was pulling was defective, as it had a piece of metal hanging off it. He did not see this piece of metal and as he pulled the cage out of the lift the piece of metal cut him on his forehead.
He immediately felt dizzy and his head was bleeding. He sustained a laceration to his forehead and has been left with a 2cm x 3cm scar on his forehead.
Following the incident, he contacted our Irwin Mitchell to discuss making a compensation claim. With our assistance he received £4,500 in compensation.
If you have suffered a burn, laceration or scarring due to a workplace accident, our accident at work solicitors could help you to secure compensation. See our Burns, Scars & Lacerations At Work Claims page for more information.
