Stoke On Trent Man Receives Four Figure Settlement for Hearing Damage Caused by Exposure To Noise in the Potteries

Mr R worked for Royal Doulton as a Labourer and Staffordshire Potteries as a Flat Maker and was exposed to excessive levels of noise for over 8 years.

He instructed, Louse Scott, a solicitor who specialises in claims for noise induced hearing loss and tinnitus, in May 2011 and accepted an offer from each defendant within 15 months.

Louise Scott said: “We all know that many employers in the potteries industry have, over the years, breached noise levels in their factories and the legacy of this is a generation of workers who are now suffering noise induced hearing loss and tinnitus which has greatly affected their quality of life.  We have been contacted by hundreds of people who have been affected by this and we will continue to fight for our clients to ensure they receive the justice they deserve.”

If you or a loved one has suffered from hearing damage such as acoustic shock, tinnitus, and noise-induced hearing loss caused by conditions at work our solicitors could help you claim compensation. See our Industrial Disease Claims page for more information.
