Over £12,000 Awarded For Nile Cruise Victims

A group of eight British holidaymakers received in excess of £12,000 in compensation after they became ill on a Nile cruise onboard the MS Salacia, with symptoms including diarrhoea and vomiting.

The holidaymakers were onboard on various dates between 4 November 2002 and 2 December 2002, and reported concerns that the food was served lukewarm and was being reheated and reused throughout the day.

After negotiations with the Defendant, a settlement was agreed out of court and over £12,000 in damages was received by the group.
