Leeds Man Knocked Off His Bike Receives £14,000 Compensation

Leeds Man Knocked Off His Bike Receives £14,000 Compensation

A man from Leeds has received £14,000 compensation for injuries sustained when he was knocked from his bike whilst riding home from work.

He sustained a fractured hip, elbow and vertebrae.  Fortunately he has made a good recovery from his injuries and has returned to work and pre-accident activities.

The accident occurred because the van which hit him failed to notice him at the side of the road when it came off a roundabout.

We hope that this case acts as a reminder to road users that cyclists are vulnerable on the roads and that extra care is taken to check for their presence, preventing accidents like this from happening in future.

If you have been injured in similar circumstances you may be able to make a bike accident claim.
