Cathryn Godfrey of the Leeds office of Irwin Mitchell has recently secured £4,300 in compensation for a client who was left with an injury to his right knee which has left a permanent scar.
Our client was a child who was playing with friends in a garden area which was to be maintained by Leeds City Council.
A stump of concrete had been left hidden in the long grass from a post which had previously been taken down. This was not visible and the child collided with this sustaining an injury to his knee.
As a result of the injury sustained, the child has been left with a significant scar just above his knee for which Irwin Mitchell have assisted him in securing £4,300 in compensation.
If you or a loved one has suffered an injury and the council was at fault you might be entitled to claim compensation. Visit our Claims Against The Council page for more details or enquire online.
