South Yorkshire Man Suffers Serious Orthopaedic Injuries At Work

Our client was working for a Rotherham company when he fell 13 feet from a ladder. The cables he was pulling through a wall came loose and he over-balanced.

He suffered severe fractures to his legs, and his left leg was amputated below the knee. The company admitted liability and work to secure compensation is now ongoing.

Our client went on to join the Orthopaedic Trauma Support Network, an organisation which was set up with the help of some Irwin Mitchell partners. The support network offers help and advice to people across South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire who have suffered serious orthopaedic injuries.
