At the time of his work injury, our client was loading a ride-on roller machine onto the back of a flatbed truck driving up metal ramps. As he did so the machine slid, fell into the gap between the two ramps on to its side and trapped his right leg. The truck's winch was not working.
He sustained a fracture to right leg requiring fixation with an external frame.
Liability split was agreed in client’s favour and settlement negotiated. The case settled for £14,000 in injury compensation.
