Our Public Liability Team in Sheffield settled a claim on behalf of a man aged 78, from Hillsborough. He suffered an accident whilst shopping in a Morrison's Supermarket.
Our client was walking along an aisle when he was caused to trip and fall by a tray that had been left on the floor by a supermarket employee.
As a result of the accident, our client sustained soft tissue injuries to his shoulder and hip and he also suffered palpitations and anxiety following the accident. His ability to participate in his hobbies of crown green bowling and ballroom dancing was affected for several months.
We pursued a claim for compensation against Morrison's Supermarket who admitted liability for the accident.
Our client received a cheque for £2,000.
If you've been injured in a supermarket and it wasn't your fault, our personal injury claims team could help you claim compensation. See our Supermarket Accident Claims page for more information.
